TURN2Dwarfs: 5 orders successful: brigade 1 get close of the objective, brigade 2 start to moves, brigade 3 take defensive position on the hill, brigade 4 position the canon to cover the center
Dark Elves: 4 orders successful, advance closely to get in range of their crossbows, brigade 4 shift to the center
Dwarfs handguners and the flame cannon spit massively on the hydra reducing it to a pile of ash, crossbow and dark riders kill one stand of slayer and confuse a unit of warriors, again the sorceress cast successful Dominion on the slayers
TURN3Dwarfs: 4 orders successful: gyrocopter launch in the back of the enemy line after home-back, brigade 1 stuck under crossbow fire, brigade 2 approach the objective, brigade 3 reinforce defensive position on the hill, brigade 4 re-position the canon to cover the center
Dark Elves: direct with general 2 orders successful after the third failed, , the cold one shift again on the right flanks to attack dwarfs brigade 3.
Dwarfs handguners and the flame cannon who ran out of power this time just kill one crossbow stand, on dwarfs brigade 1 ,crossbow and dark riders vanquish a full unit of warriors (drive back result of 22) and the second unit of warriors is confused again after drive back, the sorceress failed his Dominion spell on the slayers. The Dark Elves brigade of cold one slit and 2 unit attack in 2 round half of brigade 3, result on full rangers removed against 2 stand of cold one and a stand of warrior,
the gyrocopter goes behind the dark elves line throwing some iron on the dark riders horses, result on confusion
TURN 4 and 5 last moves and lot of close combat: dwarfs 2nd brigade charge on Witch elves, warriors on dark riders, and Dwarf Brigade 3 charge and finish the unit of cold ones, the hangunners shoot at the cold one, with the flame canon boiled too much and spit massive fire on the last unit of cold one before exploding, enough to remove the unit.
The dark elves dark riders try to crunch the gyrocopter without success, which elves of the 2nd brigade charges the warriors, and was counter charge at turn 5, enough for the dwarfs to win the engagement and to final break the Elves
Final position:
The objective is still contested but the Dark Elves general decide wisely to leaves the battlefield because of heavy loss, all their elite units being destroyed
the dwarves have suffered also a lot of casualties, but keep they ground,
the key player was definitively the flame canon !
